Adherence to innovation processes varies

Workers in larger organizations (42%) are most likely to follow an exact process when working on innovation initiatives, compared to workers at smaller organizations (30%). To achieve optimal team performance, initiative leaders and team “champions” should consider the extent to which adherence to process should be enforced. As history shows, in some cases, lack of adherence (typically within reason) has yielded stronger results.
